Restorative Yoga + Meditation

Meg’s all-levels restorative class incorporates long-held poses and is a gentle way to begin the week. Each class includes calm instrumental music, dim lighting, and ample time to connect with your body. She incorporates elements of astrology, numerology, and the moon cycles to align every class with the forces of the universe.

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that involves holding yoga poses (asanas) for longer using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is appropriate for all levels and is practiced slowly, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing. Restorative yoga is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind.

Meg Brackett (she/her) discovered yoga in her teens and has been exploring various yoga styles and teachers worldwide ever since. Meg trained with Faith Hunter in 2013 and completed her 200-hour yoga certification. She believes the best way to connect with the present moment is through her practice and tries to incorporate a mindful and positive attitude in all aspects of life.
